My style is like a jigsaw puzzle with more than one solution - it is constantly changing, adapting, and evolving. I continue to explore unique ways to execute a solution in each piece I create, fueled by my endless curiosity about the inspirations that surround me and my natural desire to be seen.
Much of my work is influenced by my own experiences, though I also enjoy creating from the ideas and influences of others. Using multimedia such as acrylic, digital tools, ink, and screen printing, I'm able to bring each piece together in its own distinct way. My passion for lettering and printmaking plays a central role in my creative process, allowing me to merge design precision with expressive, handcrafted elements. As my work continues to evolve, so does my passion - driving me to invest fully in every project I create.

Jacob Zundel is a multimedia artist based in Spearfish, South Dakota. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, he has lived in various parts of the United States but considers the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota his home. Jacob is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design at Black Hills State University. His work explores logo design, lettering, and print media, with strong technical proficiency in screen printing and digital design tools.|
Drawing inspiration from both the history and evolution of graphic design, Jacob looks to figures such as Nicholas Jenson and Frank Maddocks while also finding creative energy in movements that push back against convention, such as grunge, underground, and shock art. Through his work, he aims to merge refined design principles with bold, expressive visuals that challenge traditional expectations of graphic communication.
